- I grew up in Utah. I married my husband Doug after High School and we have 6 children. Doug passed away in Jan. 2006 due to complications from a congenital heart defect. My oldest son Kirk and Jessica have 4 kids. Andrew 10, Conner 8, Laci 3 and Alex, who at about 4 mths. of age received a heart transplant. He turned 1 on Mar. 17, 2009. Blake is my second oldest. We spend alot of time together. He has a great sense of humor and makes me laugh as well as lending me a shoulder to cry on. My daughter Jillyn and Steven have a cute little girl, Samantha, who will be 3 in August. Krista and Kami are my twins. Krista owns a condo in Orem and is working for a Title company. Kami married Jason and has a handsome little guy, Jarrett, who will be 2 this Oct. They live a few blocks away and I enjoy seeing them often. In 2007, my youngest son Jeff was diagnosed with cancer, was treated and is now cancer free. He turned 20 in Jan. 2009. I have wonderful, supportive children for which I am so grateful. Through challenges and trials our family has grown close and give support when one of them needs a shoulder. I was blessed with the best kids and grands ever. Life is Wonderful!
